ATTENTION OF EXPERIMENTAL DEPARTMENT.

Dear Sirs,

We feel sure you will be interested to learn that the recent Speed Record accomplished by Major Mario De Bernardi in his Macchi-Fiat Seaplane at the Lido Course, was equipped with the new CHAMPION Aero Plugs type A.M.1.

We are informed that Major De Bernardi's average speed for the flight was 318 3/4 mph, and at one time the speedometer was registering 349 mph.

From telegraphic advice we have just received from our Italian representative, the CHAMPION SPARKING PLUGS functioned entirely satisfactorily, and were stated by Major De Bernardi to have assisted him appreciably in putting up a new World's Air Speed Record.

Yours faithfully,

CHAMPION SPARKING PLUG CO. LTD.
