360. SECRET. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} c. to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}6/R.13.1.37. LONG WHEEL BASE - P.III. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}11/E.11.1.37. After carrying out work on the exhaust system suspension propeller shaft, etc., this car is now a reasonably good chassis, and unless we hear to the contrary we are proposing to send it to London to-morrow, the 14th instant. We have not carried out any comparative tests on the car with regard to road holding steering to see how it compares with the standard wheelbase, as the whole of the time has been occupied in making it a fairly good motor-car. We should like to have an opportunity of carrying out these experiments at a later date. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
