(12) Hand Brake. Instructions issued for deleting pilot shoes.
(13) Front Engine Suspension. We expect to issue instructions for the engine suspension by the end of next week. Since J.2. differs from Peregrine insofar as any thrust from the Propeller Shaft is carried direct on the engine unit it will be necessary to arrange for a corresponding increase of stiffness in the end control.
(14) Steering Column Control. Instructions for this have been issued by BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer}
(15) Side Steering. Any instructions necessary in respect to this item will be issued next week.
(16) Petrol Tank. Instructions to be issued next week.
(17) Clutch Pedal. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} will complete the design for this scaled up from Peregrine this week.
(18) Spring Control Rear Shackle. Instructions for this will be issued next week. By
(19) Front and Rear Dampers. These have been instructed suitable for hand control.
(20) Electrical Installation. Instructions for the shunt controlled dynamo will be issued forthwith, as all the details are ready. With regard to the vibrator unit, this will be put on as heretofore, as a separate unit, and the finished scheme - D.Sch.592 will be fitted at a later period, as this will take some time to produce owing to the necessity for making the dies for the moulding.

E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer}
