Will you kindly note that for chassis work in future, every improvement that is put on a car must be considered from the weight point of view as follows:- (1) The proposed new part must be weighed with all its connections or pieces. (2) The old part which it replaces should be similarly weighed (3) A statement for every series should be definitely made in view of the above, whether the weight of the car has increased or decreased in consequence of any changes made to design. The above procedure is very important, as CJ refers to question to me every three months for confirmation that the procedure is being actually carried out.
