To EFC. from R.{Sir Henry Royce} Copy to CJ. " " WOR.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} " " EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} " " HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} " " PN.{Mr Northey} ORIGINAL RECEIVED SEP 1921 R2/G29/9/21. X.3656. X2512. RE IRIDIO-PLATINUM CONTACT POINTS WITH A MUCH SMALLER AMOUNT OF PLATINUM THAN STANDARD. With reference to your EFC4/T14/9/21, I always intended that iridio-platinum should be used. Will you please get out standardisation sheets for these welded points to be used in future, and also increase the capacity of the condensers so that the sparking shall be reduced. This was also an old instruction from me to the coil making department. R.{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
