acteristically like the R. {Sir Henry Royce} Bosch.
There are a number of
improvements and modifications to
the design as compared to the
previous Scintilla machines, and
the more important of these are
tabulated below :-
1. Jump spark distributor, superseding
the carbon brush type.
2. Positive screw fixing of the
distributor blocks and contact brea-
ker instead of using spring clips.
3. 60° hand range as compared with
20° hand and 33° automatic on the
other magnetos.
