In connection with the above, we again wish to draw your attention to the fact that the instructions for the first 100 Wraith Chassis are not yet completed. As you are aware, the date fixed on the original schedule for completion of Drawing Office instructions was September 14th. last, but this was extended to October 31st., and then on to November 10th. Subsequently, due to the fact that certain modifications were necessary, other attempts to clear up the job were made on :- January 10th. February 7th. February 21st. February 24th. Even now there are quite a number of items outstanding such as :- Crankcase Top & Lower Halves. Connecting Rod Details. Wheelcase Details. Oil & Petrol Fittings. Front Cylinder Cover. Fan. Gearbox Mounting etc. This state of affairs cannot continue as we are now well behind our Programme on material instructions, Tooling, and production of the next 12 Chassis.
