In this connection of low speed sparking characteristics, we have investigated the performance of a number of standard E06 machines because it appeared that some machines which had been in use had considerably worse low speed sparking than new machines. The following is a table of the results obtained, in which the first six magnetos were new, and the last three magnetos taken off experimental chassis. The results obtained however, do not prove the point that the low speed sparking results are materially affected, apparently only having been the case in one machine No.63302.
