To "Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}" Works. LID{A. J. Lidsey} x4013. Sèvres Hm{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs}/VA26/RC.{R. Childs}10.2.32 Re Experimental Modified Exhaust Manifolds. With reference to our memo Hm{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs}/VA17/GM.30.12.31 the following is the position with regard to the above. Chassis 119-MC. (Fitted set of sliding joint type.) Owner took delivery of car January 20th and has promised to let us have information about the manifolds plus mileage covered. Chassis N°4-LC. Please refer to our memo Hm{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs}/VA13/GM6.11.31. This owner promised to write and give us information and mileage, we have not heard from him since he left Paris for the Riviera and we do not know his present whereabouts. Chassis 75-HC. Manifolds satisfactory. Please refer memo Hm{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs}/VA13/GM. 6.11.31. Mileage Kms.5.100.- Chassis GA-62. Fitted a ribbed Type manifold on the 30/12/31. No speedometer fitter to car, same has covered approximately 1.500 Kms. since fitting the manifold. We find that it is not an easy matter to obtain the information required when experimental manifolds have been fitted to owners cars, they promise to write and give particulars etc., but the majority fail to do so. We are again trying to get into touch with the owner of Chassis 4-LC. We presume that all manifolds fitted by us are giving satisfaction otherwise we certainly should have heard from the various owners. "Hm{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs}/VA" VAN | ||
