File 6065 HPS{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr}/RH.{R. Hollingworth} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/RC.{R. Childs} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/RC.{R. Childs}1/ML.14.5.40. FAILURE OF SPEEDOMETER ON CAR 8.B.V. The speedometer on the above car No: Y.78, calibration 728 rev/mile, has failed. The fault appears to lie in the trip mileage mechanism, as the tenths-mile figures do not respond to either setting key or running motion. Will you please arrange for this instrument to be returned to the A.T.Speedometer Co., with all possible speed since the car is without a speedometer. To be addressed for the attention of Mr. Arrowsmith. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/RC.{R. Childs} | ||
