S/W Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X3594 C5/C7.1.22. Re Goshawk II. X3594 With reference to your Hsl/LG30.11.21, this matter was discussed at a Sales Conference held on the 20th December, and it was decided that when we supply the chassis only, we shall only give with the chassis those accessories that we give with the 40/50, and this does not include speedometer, clock, lamps, wind horn, spare wheel carrier and spare tyre. But all these items will be standardised when we supply the complete car, as is intended. Will you therefore pleased submit to us a list of the accessories that you recommend should be fitted as standard, in the way of lamps, speedometer, clock, etc. bearing in mind we cannot afford, on the Goshawk, to give away luxurious accessories, as we want to keep the price of the car as low as possible. Perhaps you will also submit with your list samples and prices. With regard to the second part of your memo. wherein you refer to the standardising and supply of an instrument board, we are rather surprised to note that you consider it essential that the instrument board should be standardised, in view of R's memo. R10/M15.12.21, copy of which you have. C. [Stamp]: RECEIVED JAN 9 1922 | ||
