I spoke to Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} about this, and he was a little puzzled to know what to think in view of the fact that he understood from Dodds that on SpectreCodename for Phantom III 3 the Ekco set made a lot of noise when the car was stationary with the engine running, due I believe to the absence of suppressors.

I must say that on my Philco set on 9-RY I get no interference whatever from the engine, but then I have suppressors fitted.

Perhaps you would let me hear further from you re this, as whilst Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} is not particularly pleased with the wireless set on his own car, he does not see any point in changing if the others are also subject to unpleasant defects.
