M.S.V.1 SCREENS & LODGE A.5.B SPARKING PLUGS ---------------------------------------------------- "We have recently started using Lodge A.5.B sparking plugs. I find that they are approximately 3/32" larger from ball to top of small hexagon. M.S.Vl{V. Lewis / Mr Valentine} terminals are, I also find, shorter in the body of screen than the original M.S.V. This makes it that screen body does not sit right down on to the top of the small hexagon, as with K.L.G.V9 plugs. Also it is difficult to fit these screens on to lodge plugs, and when fitted small thimble is pushed choc-a-bloc in ebonite, also undue strain is put on the screen generally. Sparking plugs Lodge A.5.B. I am also inclined to think that the points are closing on to central electrode in flight, but am investigating this and will report further". (sgd) J.Lomas | ||
