Some time ago the question of making the battery ignition contact breaker lever pressing of a thinner gauge than standard was discussed. During the running of experimental engines on the test bed at high speeds, we have a suspicion that the contact breaker is behaving erratically causing a drop in power at high speeds. This may be due to the inertia of the lever and we should like to have for experiment as soon as possible a lever made in the thinner gauge material. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/HEW. | ||
