Report on Car No 2200.

As I crossed channel by night boat from Newhaven was unable to report on Wednesday & yesterday was late on arriving at Rouen.

Wednesday. Went to Lucas' (London) re dynamo & subsequently found jangling noise was caused by clutch coupling having sufficient end play to allow same to strike dynamo end driving pulley occasionally. This still continues.

Brakes very good. Car running well.

Drove to Newhaven 73 miles. Petrol 8 galls (1 gall in tank at Newhaven).

Car Shipped to Dieppe.

Thursday. Drove to Boulogne. Thence to Rouen.
232 miles consumption 140 litres petrol. 5 litres oil.
Car ran well & very fast. Brakes oiled up
Oil leaked from front wheel caps.
