R.R. 286a (100 T) (S.H. 139, 11-8-20) G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} 2800 X.3362 To Wd.{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}/Ms. from EFC. EFC3/T12.1.21. X.3362 - LIGHTING INSTALLATION AT W.W. RE HALF WATT LAMPS. X.1114. Mr. Royce has acknowledged the receipt of the one dozen half watt Royal Ediswan head lamp bulbs, but points out that these are two ampere bulbs and therefore of 24 watt 50 c.p., whereas we think that we had ordered lamps of 22 c.p. from the Ediswan Company. Perhaps you would kindly look up your order and see if this is the case, in which case the Ediswan Co. should be informed that they sent us the incorrect lamps. From Mr. Royce's note, however, we understand that he will now keep these, but he would also like to have one dozen of the smaller c.p. (22). We would also like an enquiry to be sent to the Ediswan Company for 24 volt half watt lamps ( on account of the fact that Mr. Royce is proposing to alter the voltage of his system from 12 to 24. We want to know what candle powers in half watt lamps the Ediswan Company can supply for 24 volts. Mr. Royce suggests that they should send us a couple of sample lamps of each of the three lowest candle powers made for this voltage. He would also like to have a sample holder as used as standard for this voltage, which is that of train lighting. Mention should be made of the fact that we do not require these lamps to be focussing, but would prefer them with spread filaments. In addition Contd. | ||
