[Handwritten: 48290] I wired to you as below concerning the 'V' series underguards, as I was given to understand by Mr. Jenner that the first revised set of these was being erected on a chassis having the starter motor on the engine:- "WE THINK MOST IMPERATIVE EAC. MODEL UNDER-SHIELDS SHOULD BE ERECTED ON CHASSIS NOT HAVING 'STARTER MOTOR ON ENGINE.'
