Messrs Rolls-Royce Ltd.,
DERBY.

For the attention of Mr.Childs.

Dear Sirs,

We have pleasure in confirming our telephonic conversation in reference to the Fog Lamps which you require for use upon staff cars, and for which we have now received your Order No.14140.

As intimated we are unable to supply the pre-war pattern Chromium Plated lamps referred to in your order, and it is understood that we supply you with the CFH370 lamps in all black finish which we are at present producing in limited quantities only for use upon War Transport Vehicles. We have arranged for 12 of these, 6 with 12 volt bulbs and the remainder with 6 volt bulbs, to be put in hand on your behalf, and will forward these to you as soon as possible.

With regard to the switch which you require, as arranged we have sent under separate cover, a sample PS7 Switch of the "push-pull" type which we think will meet your requirements, and if you will let us have your approval of this we will arrange for the remainder to be supplied at once.

With regard to the cable, we are proposing to supply you with a length of the suitable type which we understand you will cut off as required to suit the different vehicles concerned.

Yours faithfully,
JOSEPH LUCAS LTD.
H.G. Copper.
