HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 7.7.30 ROLLS ROYCE LTD. 15, CONDUIT ST.{Capt. P. R. Strong} LONDON. W. 1. Messrs Vickers ( Aviation) Ltd., Weybridge, Surrey. Dear Sirs, RE WIND TUNNEL TESTS. We shall be ready early next week commencing July 17th. to further our wind tunnel tests on the eighth scale model of the Bentley Car, and would be glad to hear from you when you will be able to carry out these tests. As far as we can see we shall want half a day for setting up and about a day and a half for the tests. The writer will bring all the models and parts to you personally and send to you a schedule of the tests, and will be present during the experiments, with your kind permission. So that the tests may be comparable with those already carried out, we suggest that the ground plate method be used again. Yours faithfully, for Rolls Royce Ltd.. | ||
