The new CISE12S B.T.H. Magnetos are not performing too well and we have got Messrs.Rotax Ltd., busy with the new design lightened type Watford Magneto for our Kestrel engines. We hope as a result of our experience with the B.T.H.Co., the Watford Magneto will emerge as a very nice job.

We have also completed over 150 hrs. running with Phosphor Bronze braided ignition cables without a single burst of the braiding. This is the first case on record at the Works of any engine having completed even 100 hrs. without some of the braiding cables having burst. I thought you would be interested to hear of this result, and I should be interested to learn how your tests are proceeding at the R.A.E. with these cables.

Yours sincerely,
