CONNECTING RODS.

1. G.R.73610. Broken rod, from the Alta Engineering Co.Ltd.
1. Rohnalite rod. Cadillac "16".

VALVES.

1. Silchrome valve off 3-B-IV. Has done about 10,000 miles on 76 octane Ethyl. 24.5.34.
1. K.E.965 valve off B-3 unit.
7. Valves (exhaust) Cadillac, ran 21,000 miles, 15,000 miles in France. The test was carried out on lead.
1. Bentley valve, head broken away. 8 hours endurance, 2 hours at 4,250, 4 hours at 4,000. Ethyl.
1. Bentley valve off 3-B-IV, 10,000 miles in England, 24.5.34.
1. SpectreCodename for Phantom III exhaust valve, head broken away, 12,000 miles.
1. Ex. 1-B. 145. K.E. No record.
2. Valve guides off 58-GN. Constant sticking due to length and thin section.

VALVE SPRINGS.

1. Valve spring (Bentley). Old standard 20/25, pulled out, 15,000 miles on Bentley.
1. Valve spring (Bentley). Stiffer type. Broken after 600 miles, fitted wrong free length.
