by.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} c. EY/RD. 6119 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}4/R.16.2.39. R.R. DISTRIBUTOR. We consider it is unfortunate that we should have to go into production in 1939 with a distributor, the adjustment of which is so out of date. Inability to get an accurate setting will, undoubtedly, penalise the Bentley from a detonation point of view. The latest Lucas has our idea of an up-to-date vernier setting. We propose to run the latest Lucas distributor on one of the coming endurance tests in France to get a figure of merit for it. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
