re. Chassis 46-ME. F.T.Fisher Esq.

With reference to the above and your memo to CJ. PN{Mr Northey}1/H13.9.21, also our conversation of yesterday.

It was agreed in conversation between you and Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} that Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}would supply a set of rear shock absorber parts for me to fit on this car.

We have asked Rd. to get out the approximate cost of supplying and fitting these parts, and have asked him to send this information to you as soon as possible.

In the meantime are we to go ahead with the work, in view of the fact that it is going to be an expensive job, as it will be necessary to make alterations to the body to clear the shock-absorbers. Furthermore, the shock absorbers are not standardised, and consequently we ought to have CJ.'s permission to incorporate this on Mr. Fisher's car.

We await decision, but as pointed out above, we have asked Mr. Rodman to advise you of the price of doing this work.

EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}
