Dear Rothes,

Confirming our telephone conversation, I have today sent you a telegram suggesting that you should make sure that the covers on the rear of the demonstration cars are not worn.

Some of these cars have now done about 5,000 miles demonstrating, and this sort of work very quickly wears the tread although the pattern does not look very different. There may be nothing in this but it is a point for your consideration.

We confirm that we should like you to send out to Hancock the tyre which you consider best for absence of skidding irrespective of any other attribute, and we will get him to test this against the India Speed Special and the Dunlop Triple Stud.

Kind regards,

Yours sincerely,
