7th September 1938.

F.{Mr Friese} Dodd, Esq.,
Messrs. Rolls-Royce Limited,
DERBY.

Dear Mr. Dodd,

I hope you will not consider I am trespassing in writing you personally with regard to our "M.M." Draughtless Ventilator, but your kindness and courtesy to me when I was at Derby encourages me to do so.

You may have seen an official letter I wrote to Derby a week or two ago, but in case not I attach a copy, and I am wondering if it is possible for you to let me know whether this is receiving consideration or, if not, whether there are any other steps I ought to take to bring the matter forward.

If I appear to be troubling you unnecessarily I hope you will accept as excuse my natural enthusiasm for this invention, and my anxiety to make progress with such an important Concern as your own.

With kind regards, and trusting you are well,

I am,
Yours sincerely,

M.A.Mclean
