40/50 HP. CHASSIS. FOUR WHEEL BRAKE.

With reference to the hardness of the rear Brake Drums, please note that after the first hundred chassis, these drums will correspond to the figures to which the front Brake Drums are produced.

Based on the information which is available at the present time, it will be quite in order for chassis to be passed off test with Brake Drums fitted to the lower Brinell figures.

In regard to the springs in the Side Steering Tube, until the Experimental Dept. have definitely decided which spring is required, it will be quite in order to deliver chassis with Side Steering Tubes fitted with the weak type spring. In the event of the Experimental Dept. deciding that it is essential for the stronger springs to be fitted, then this matter will have to be dealt with later.
