BENTLEY SERVO CAMS.

In reply to your memo. Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}8/KW.11.6.37.

Two standardisation sheets have been recently issued (4.6.37) for Ferodo BZ and 35° servo cams. As the 35° cams are standard on 25/30 H.P. it is hoped that they will be available for production shortly.

The reason for the change is that this combination is freer from squeaks than the present one. A depot sheet has also been issued for complaint cases.

35° cams should only be used with anti-judder weights N.Sch.4865.

As regards the servo improvements you refer to in paragraph (3) of your memo. the standardisation sheets were first issued in November 1936, by this department and they were completed in March this year. L series material was due to be ordered on January 1st. this year, apparently after part of the standardisation sheets had been filled in; but the situation had changed by the time the sheet was completed.
