X2917C Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} To Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} FROM Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} Copy to E.Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}DF. C.Cr.{Mr Cra???ster / Mr Chichester} Ba. Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} re Trend of Design. Referring to the above generally and the clearing up of front appearances in particular, I would refer you to a very interesting contrast in fronts at the Berlin Show as illustrated on page 423 of this week's "Autocar". If one cared to prophesy which is always risky, I would say that in about two years' time the appearance shown in the lower of the two photographs will be much more popular than what is more or less standard to-day.
