For the attention of Mr. Leslie Kent.

Dear Sirs,

We have three G.3. petrol pumps which are faulty and which we would like you to examine. We have also a report from Mr. Hancock stating that these new and modified pumps are not coming through up to standard. The main trouble being due to leaking at the flanges. We took this question up with you some time ago and pointed out that it was due to the corrosion set up by the G.1 material not being cleaned off the pump body when the pumps were modified. For a time you remedied this but it seems to have been neglected of late and we would be glad if you would tighten up the inspection as pumps should not be delivered leaking at the plugs or flanges.

We are still waiting for the details of cost for your standard double pump with :-

(1) Enamel finish on the pots.
(2) Chrome plated brass plugs and spherical nipples.
(3) C and A washers for plugs.
(4) Double contacts.
(5) R.R. contact covers.
(6) R.R. valve cages.

Unless I hear to the contrary on Monday I will bring over the faulty pumps sometime in the morning and at the samtime
