S/W. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X5080 CWB3/GM/23-9-27. Re: CHOKING OF LOW SPEED CARBURETTOR JETS 20 H.P. The following is an extract from a letter received from Miss E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} Simpkin with reference to GMJ-18. "I am very glad I was able by following your advice to put matters right without your having to send someone down here to help me. The cause of the bad running was precisely what you anticipated, a tiny ball of fluff wound tightly round the low speed jet needle." Is the position with regard to this choking now satisfactory? Have we made any other alterations. e.g. in the shape or finish of the needle itself, in addition to the change to a large filter? an edge Carl. CWB. | ||
