ROLLS-ROYCE OF AMERICA, INC. SPRINGFIELD, MASS. 44038 Y3896 Oy5-E-11827 January 18th, 1927 Mr. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} W. Hives, Rolls-Royce, Ltd., Derby, England. Re Fuel Level Indicator Dear Mr. Hives: We have written for particulars of the King-Seeley Indicator. The best distance-reading indicator we know is the "Nivex". It is made by C. T. Weymann of 20 Rue Troyon, Paris. It has no float but works with a small hand air pump on the dash and a dial gauge which is really a small aneroid. We have fitted a number for owners. We think the best gauge of all is a 3 gallon reserve. Yours very truly, Maurice Olley MO/E cc - Mr. Haldenby | ||
