DYNAMO ARMATURE PLATES.

We have now confirmed on another R.R. Phantom dynamo in different circumstances, the superiority of thinner armature plates, previously reported upon in our EFC3/T21.6.26 and again referred to in our EFC1/T13.8.26, and are of the opinion that there is sufficient difference to make it worth while to use the thinner plates (i.e. with only varnish and thin paper insulation) in the Phantom dynamos.

Accordingly, we consider that we should adopt the thinner plates, and we are placing the whole results in BY's hands for consideration.
