84553.a To Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} From Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}3/MJ.16.2.33. Re. The Bentley. Replying to Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}8/D.15.2.33. We attach herewith copy of a report we have received from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} is running this car for one week before he hands it over to Mr. Hancock at Chateauroux. Road conditions permitting he intends to go across France and Italy then back again to Chateauroux. The run to London and back and Brooklands and back is about the only running we have done on the Bentley car and between these runs several modifications were made. We should be glad for Bn.{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington} to try this car and we suggest that he should go over to Chateauroux and arrange to take it away for two or three days. It would suit us if he went over there at the end of next week. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
