FLAP TYPE BONNET VENTILATORS. We have moved the pivot of the shutters .250" nearer the centre than on the bonnet which was originally examined at W.W. and criticised on account of the difficulty in opening the shutters. The alteration made the operation quite easy and the design was approved by Sales. Owing to the urgency of getting this fitted to the show cars this position of pivot is being adhered to for production. Any further alteration to design will mean that it will not be possible to incorporate this fitting on cars for this years show. We can make up a bonnet experimentally having centrally pivoted shutters with a view to putting it into production at a later date if considered an improvement.
