Y3806 To CY. from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}6/T16.1.29. CENTRAL LUBRICATION. Y3806 We have decided to fit the Bijur oiling scheme to both the new S.S. and the 20 H.P. immediately. It would be very helpful to us if you could let us know what "niggers" you have found in this scheme. We should like to know what drip plugs you are using in different parts. How often do you recommend operating the pump. What happens if this is forgotten; we have experienced cases when the pump has not been operated for 500 or 600 miles, and the shackles have become rusted and the oil could not get there. Have you any experience with the filters in the drip plugs becoming stopped up? What oil do you recommend? What happens if wrong oil is used? Have you had experience of non-return valves leaking and allowing one branch of the system emptying? Do the results vary in winter and summer? Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
