To: £7C Date: 6 - 11 - 1928 Order No.: WD{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead} 20 Customer's No.: X.7791 Lucas ER6 magneto No 51. As a result of Messrs North's query re this magneto in their letter of the 24th ult, we have conducted a test with our leaky gap on the bench. We found the performance on our standard annular gap shunted by a non inductive chemical leak of 2.5 micromhos, to be very good, the magneto firing the gap fully retarded at a speed of 250 rpm and fully advanced 4500 r.p.m (magneto revs). This information should be all Messrs North's require. Signed: H.E.W. This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work. | ||
