In addition, we have looked through the specification and would like to submit the following:-

(1) BODY:- The front pillars should be as small in section as possible. Quite a lot has been done recently in investigating the possibility of using really light pillars so as to give the best possible visibility.

(2) DOORS:- We think there should be a Quick-lift to the offside front door if the control can be accommodated without interference with other fittings. We also think there should be private locks to the nearside door with inside catches to the offside that the outside handles should be of the new safety pattern and that there ought to be some ventilation scheme.

(3) DIVISION:- This should be electrically operated.

(4) QUARTER-WINDOWS;- We suggest the coachbuilders be given the option of arranging these to slide rearwards instead of opening outwards.

(5) VISORS:- We should like to see Rolvizors specified.

(6) CARPET:- To the back floor we should prefer to see a mohair rug as used in Humbers and other cars.

(7) SCUTTLE VENTILATOR: We are no longer insistent there should be a tray provided there is a gauze and the ventilator is watertight when closed.

(8) BACK OF DIVISION:- We think there ought to be tables as in the Humber that we saw.

(9) RAIN GUTTERS:- There should be a rain gutter or cornice.
