Dear Sir,

With reference to your letter of September 1st to Mr. Maurice Wilks, in connection with the disposal of the Studebaker car, we think a reasonable price for us to ask for this would be £275.

We could easily obtain £300 for it, but the original arrangement we believe was that any depreciation should be shared between us when the car was sold, and it seems reasonable, therefore, that this arrangement should apply under present conditions, where the car can be disposed of at a profit on the original price.

Perhaps you would please let us know if the figure is acceptable, and we will then forward an invoice.

Yours faithfully,
THE ROVER COMPANY LTD.

Sgd. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} JACKSON.
