The starting-carburetter tap on the instrument-board endeavoured to turn itself on all the time the car was running, which is very troublesome.

The electric petrol gauge functioned well.

Though I was warned that the clutch might slip, I was pleased not to experience this.

The Lucas windscreen wipers were unreliable and occasionally went out of action, also the blade pressure was too small and the speed about half what it should be i.e. half-second wipers.

The repaired exhaust manifold gave no trouble.
