To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer}

E.3/HP.15.12.34.

re Bentley Supercharger.

We send you herewith a blueprint of the rough scheme we have in view for the high power head on a Straight '8' engine for the Bentley chassis.

This just shows the engine with the alternative blower and naturally aspirated schemes.

The other induction systems we have in view for the blower consist of using a quadruple volute distributing to four siamesed ports and a double volute distributing to the usual 2/4/2 induction pipe.
Unfortunately you are not in a position to try this with the existing blower, but we might make a new casing for the blower that you have, incorporating the modifications required to the volute.

E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer}
