Reference Wd {Mr Wood / Mr Whitehead} 14/NJ12421. Dear Sirs, X.4341 X.4342.✔ RE STARTER MOTOR. We are extremely obliged for your favour of the 12th inst. bearing the above reference, and we shall be pleased to immediately put in hand a sample model "SB {Mr Bull/Mr Bannister} " starter without pinion as you suggest, but we would like to know whether you want this with the ordinary Bendix spindle minus the pinion, spring, etc., or if you prefer a perfectly plain spindle, and if so, how far do you wish it to project clear of the endshield? On receipt of your reply to this query we shall immediately put the machine in hand. It is quite immaterial to us whether the machine is sent in to you on "sale or return" terms or otherwise. In regard to prices for the models SB {Mr Bull/Mr Bannister} and SC Starters, these we have pleasure in attaching hereto, and we have quoted for them with plain spindles and alternatively complete with the the standard Bendix Drive.
