"Attention The Secretary."

Dear Sir,

We are submitting, under seperate cover, for your approval, samples of our Oil lubricant and grease which we recommend for your make of car. These oils are straight run hence the carbon is reduced to a minimum. They are "cold test", as also are the greases, so you will quickly realize their importance in this climate where with ordinary lubrication the engine and self starter are operating in the winter against no lubrication until the heat generated allows them to run. Our Oils run at zero and the greases are good for about twenty degrees below.

With ordinary grease in this winter climate the bearings merely cut a groove in the lubricant and run dry until heated.

We shall be glad to hear your opinion on our products, which have met with enthusiastic approval with the best people in America.

Very truly yours,

E.R. macGregor
MOTOR OIL DEPARTMENT.
