X/1583 Expl: Dept: Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}3/LG. 25th. June 1926. Messrs. Wakefield & Co. Ltd., 30-32 Cheapside, (Wakefield House), London E.C.2. Dear Sirs, For the attention of Mr. Limb. Replying to your letter of the 23rd. inst. Our Mr. Parsons from our Paris Depot, was in England but he was only here two or three days, and has now returned. Owing to the fact that they were not able to obtain Prices oil, our Paris Depot for some time have been using Toneline oil. We did at one time get them to use Castrol, but they had a certain amount of trouble, which at the time we thought was due to the oil, but since then we have altered our views. Our French Depots have received instructions as regards the use of Wakefields oils, but any further action should be taken up direct with them. Mr. Parsons is the man whom you ought to see but he is very seldom in England. I understand they have favourable terms from the Toneline Company. Yours faithfully, | ||
