-2- The air valve and needle having been drawn upwards at these speeds the needle is working on a very slow taper. At low speeds when the air valve is at the bottom the .050" movement of the jet is working at the steepest part of the needle and a definite control of the mixture can be obtained. To obtain better consumption at high speeds we propose to delete two of the bleed holes in the diffuser. By doing this the mixture at slower speeds would not be affected.
