γ 6055 BY. {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} FROM HS {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /LID. {A. J. Lidsey} c. to EV. {Ivan Evernden - coachwork} R.H.C. HS {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /LID. {A. J. Lidsey} 4/MA.3.12.31. 20-G4 BATTERY BOX SUSPENSION. Whilst at Park Wards yesterday it was noticed that the body at present being made for 20-G4 would not fit on its own chassis if the battery box suspension to N.Sch 3333. is employed. DA {Bernard Day - Chassis Design} /EV {Ivan Evernden - coachwork} agreed and pointed out that it was not intend-ed {J. L. Edwards} to use this scheme on 20-G4. To suit the body the sus-pension must be similar to the standard for the 2nd., half of 'T' series but adapted to the sheet metal battery box; the battery box itself must be in the same position as on 2nd., half of 'T' series 'EV {Ivan Evernden - coachwork} ' promised to advise Derby concerning this. Will you please issue instructions immediately for the necessary alterations to be made, we hope to receive the body on Monday next. HS {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /Lid. {A. J. Lidsey} | ||
