Messrs. Rolls Royce Ltd.,
D E R B Y.

Dear Mr. Robotham,

Just a line, first of all to say thank you for the information conveyed at our interview today, and secondly, to say that I have had an opportunity of discussing the difficulty with Mr. Wickman and that he has agreed that we shall evolve some alternative basis of royalty under which the said fee on the smaller cars would be, as agreed, 15/- per chassis.

In the near future I will work out some alternative royalty clause which will make this effective and will communicate it to you for your views before official adoption. But in the meantime I take this opportunity of confirming my verbal undertaking, and remain,

Yours truly,

Edgar de Normanville.
