R.{Sir Henry Royce} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}3/LG20.9.22. 4-GOSHAWK-11. Y4219 X5531 We loaned to Mr. Watson (our Agent at Liverpool) 4-Goshawk-11 car last week end - (He tried one of the first Goshawk cars early in the year). He ran 4-Goshawk-11 car during the week-end 350 to 400 miles and tried it up some of the hills in N. Wales. He was most enthusiastic on the general excellence and performance of this car. He said he liked it better than any other car he had ever been on, including the 40/50 H.P. He considered it miles ahead of any car he is selling. Besides the R-R, they sell - The Sunbeam, Vauxhall, Napier and Lanchester etc. He described the running of the car as though one had a sail up and was being driven along by the wind, compared with other cars. He had never enjoyed driving a car so much before and he had never been more loath to part with a car. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
