For the attention of Mr. Leslie.
Dear Sirs,
We have to acknowledge with thanks receipt of your letter dated the 16th instant, on the subject of Stabilus equipment.
We feel that, in view of the controversy arising on this equipment, the only satisfactory means of arriving at a decision is actually to test out such a set of equipment on one of your cars.. As outlined previously, we have requested the Stabilus people to forward a set of equipment to these Works for the Ford V8 car, and we in turn will pass this on to you as soon as received at these Works.
Yours faithfully,
p.p. LEYLAND MOTORS LIMITED.
M Pilkington
Manager, Engineering Dept.
