BENTLEY PISTONS.

We have received a number of complaints from Kingsbury about supplying the wrong type of Bentley Pistons.

The Pistons which have been applied for at various times are EB.2844. The Bentley requisitions stipulate this Piston yet it is found that the Repair Dept. have altered their Sheets and put another Piston EB.3364/5/6, which is unsuitable for Kingsbury's requirements.

Unless requisitions made by Kingsbury and other Depots are complied with it will create endless difficulties with regard to Repair Requirements.

In the particular case referred to it is found that the Repair Dept. at Derby had changed the Piece Number and sent Pistons which were convenient to them instead of Pistons requisitioned.

Instructions for these Pistons from the Design Department are quite clear and should therefore be acted upon. Will you please see that this is carried out in future.
