Field Circuit.
There is one wound pole, on a laminated pole piece, which is screwed to the yoke from the outside by two cheese headed screws; a hollow in the yoke opposite, forming the other pole.
The coil consists of two windings of black enamel insulated wire; the main field having 705 turns of .0345" dia. (Approx 20 S.W.G.) wire, with a resistance of 6.1w at 22°C. A control winding of 19 turns of wire, .064" dia. (16 S.W.G) with a resistance of .059w at 22°C.
